Here is an old but good recipe for Waldorf Salad now that the warm weather is coming 

Waldorf Salad

Cut in pieces 3 apples 

add 1/3 cup cider vinegar

2 TLb  mayo

chopped walnuts

curry powder

raisins

celery pieces

mint

salt :& pepper to taste
